DESCRIPTION:Docile Bodies is a Tilburg-Amsterdam post-punk collective known
  for their belligerent yet romantic approach to the genre. Combining grand
 \, canorous guitar sounds with ardently preached vocals\, the band moves e
 ffortlessly between the more wave-driven and punk-oriented ends of the pos
 t-punk spectrum. Their music explores themes of art\, nature and family\, 
 alongside reflections on monotony and the value of hope. Following earlier
  releases including the single Only This (2020)\, the EP Arc (2022) and th
 eir debut album Light Will Come Our Way (2024)\, the band appeared at fest
 ivals such as Best Kept Secret\, Here's the Thing and Geleen Calling. With
  Rest \, Docile Bodies takes a different path. Where Light Will Come Our W
 ay searched for a more confident notion of nature and family bonds\, Rest 
 exchanges that catharsis for eight songs that are slower\, harder to conso
 le and deliberately unwilling to resolve. The album moves through emptied 
 rooms\, memory and fractured belief systems without attempting to explain
