DESCRIPTION:Shaking Hand is a trio from Manchester who create long\, slow-b
uilding post-rock across multiple moods and time signatures. They draw ins
piration from modernist architecture\, ’90s American alternative music\,
and Midwest emo. The band’s musical DNA runs through experimental guita
 r acts such as Women\, Slint\, Sonic Youth\, Pavement\, and Ulrika Spacek\
, balanced by the melodic sensibility of Big Thief and the dynamic intimac
y of Yo La Tengo. support: Turmeric The wilful trio Turmeric never lets an
yone’s ears be at rest. With their dynamic sound\, they constantly keep
you on your toes. Amidst an avalanche of dissonance\, time changes\, twist
s and turns\, Turmeric plays on relentlessly\, dragging you into their int
imate world in which anything can happen. With countless influences\, thei
r mix of post-rock\, shoegaze and experimentalism has something to offer f
or everyone. Ride along on the soundwaves or crash against their walls. Fo
