SUMMARY:Politie Warnsveld
LOCATION:Melkweg\, Lijnbaansgracht 234A\, 1017 PH Amsterdam
GEO:52.3647;4.8813
DESCRIPTION:Politie Warnsveld are a Dutch-language ska-punk band with uncom
promising pop music celebrating how beautiful life is and how rubbish the
world is. With no pretensions\, ‘Popo Warra’ are blazing their own tra
il through the music scene\, taking everyone along in their wake. In 2024\
, they won the Roos van Nijmegen\, and since then no festival tent or pop
venue has been safe. During the Popronde 2025\, they consistently played t
o packed venues with queues stretching far beyond the door. They’ve sinc
e rocked bigger venues such as Melkweg\, Doornroosje\, Luxor Live and Metr
opool\, closed the evening at Noorderslag 2026\, and their “Was Het Nou
Maar Zo” EP release tour sold out in no time. Last summer\, they played
at countless festivals such as Lowlands\, Into The Great Wide Open and Zwa
rte Cross. Now Politie Warnsveld are taking it one step further: a debut a
lbum! An album for and by a generation caught between hope and despair. Wi
th a contemporary ska-punk sound that feels both familiar and fresh: energ
etic\, uncompromising and full of melodies that stay with you. With a live
show that makes everything they’ve done before seem almost small by com
parison. No mercy - just a bigger stage\, more...\n\nDetails and tickets:
