DESCRIPTION:On Sunday afternoon\, January 24\, 2027\, Gallowstreet will be
performing a special kids' show at Paradiso. As part of the club tour for
their new album 'Futurebrass'\, releasing in mid-October\, this Amsterdam
brass band is bringing children and their parents into the world of brass
instruments and synthesizers! If you play a brass instrument yourself\, br
ing it along\, as the members of Gallowstreet will host a short workshop a
fter the show. About Gallowstreet Gallowstreet has been a household name f
or over a decade. Known to many for their energetic brass arrangements\, t
he Amsterdam band has long been a familiar face at Paradiso. On Sunday\, J
anuary 24\, they return to our Main Hall as part of their new project\, Fu
ture Brass \, a fresh\, sound-driven approach that completely turns tradit
ional brass music on its head. Instead of arranging existing tracks or add
ing effects to an instrument\, their creative process starts with the soni
c identity of a modern record. The goal is to capture the groove\, texture
\, and impact of genres like hip-hop and electronic music live through bra
ss. By writing as a band and thinking like a producer\, the brass section
serves as an essential element of the sound...\n\nDetails and tickets: htt
