DESCRIPTION:For almost ten years\, there has been more mystery than certain
ty surrounding the Australian artist Spike Fuck. In 2015\, he emerged on M
elbourne’s alternative music scene with ‘The Smackwave EP’\, on whic
h he explored themes such as drug use\, gender identity\, religion and exi
stential doubt through melancholic pop-rock. His unexpected success took h
im from illegal warehouse parties to fashion shows and magazine features\,
but just as he was on the verge of a breakthrough\, he suddenly disappear
ed. After four years of silence\, Spike Fuck returned in 2024: sober\, cle
 ar-headed and with a new line-up. No longer just using a backing track\, b
ut as the frontman of a rotating live band. Together\, they move between 1
970s glam rock\, soul and rock ’n’ roll\, all carried by his poetic vo
 ice.\n\nDetails and tickets: https://onlyhere.app/amsterdam/whats-on/parad
