SUMMARY:YEИDRY
LOCATION:Tolhuistuin\, IJpromenade 2\, 1031 KT Amsterdam
GEO:52.383088;4.90303
DESCRIPTION:Yendry has had enough of love. At least\, if you’re to believ
e songs like ‘No me vuelvo a enamorar’. The percussion keeps a steady
beat and the bass keeps it danceable as she decides never to fall in love
again. The Dominican-Italian singer creates Latin pop with electronic beat
s and R&B\, in which rhythms from her homeland are clearly audible. She’
s already attracted worldwide attention with her first single\, ‘Nena’
. Now\, on her debut album ‘Como agua’\, she sings about leaving a pla
ce behind and starting afresh somewhere else. Her Dominican and Italian ro
ots come through on the record\; you can hear the danceable guitar rhythms
of bachata\, but also the influence of Italian pop in the melodies. And t
hat intention not to fall in love again? She doesn’t manage to stick to
it for the whole album.\n\nDetails and tickets: https://onlyhere.app/amste
