DESCRIPTION:Horse Jumper of Love is a Boston-based trio known for their raw
\, aching blend of slowcore and shoegaze. Originally formed by Dimitri Gia
nnopoulos\, John Margaris\, and James Doran as teenagers playing Boston ho
use shows\, the band’s self-titled 2016 debut grew from humble basement
recordings into a modern classic. Its intimate\, rough-edged songs capture
d the disorientation of growing up\, falling in love\, heartbreak\, and th
e transition from adolescence into adulthood. What began as a record Giann
opoulos never expected many people to hear instead became a defining relea
se of the 2010s\, helping bring slowcore and shoegaze back into the indie
rock conversation. Since then\, Horse Jumper of Love have gone from Boston
basements to worldwide headline tours and high-profile festivals\, while
sharing stages with influential acts including Duster. Their self-titled d
ebut has had a lasting influence on a new generation of bands such as They
Are Gutting A Body of Water\, Teethe\, and Shallowater\, with its elegiac
songs becoming slowcore staples. To mark its tenth anniversary\, the albu
m has been expanded and remastered with archival material\, including unre
leased demos\, B-sides\, alternate versions\,...\n\nDetails en tickets: ht
