SUMMARY:For the Nation?!
LOCATION:Mediamatic\, Dijksgracht 6\, 1019 BS Amsterdam
GEO:52.376617;4.913154
DESCRIPTION:Are you prepared? Do you know what to do in an emergency? Can y
ou survive in your home for 72 hours? And what would you like to eat in th
ese possible last 3 days of your life? GMO technology claims to end world
hunger\, yet food systems remain as fragile and unequal as ever. Does tech
really keep us fed\, or does true security come from each other? In this
workshop Yorke will invite you to think about how safety and food are inte
rtwined. And how the question of the Dutch government to prepare an emerge
ncy kit could be an opportunity to come closer together. Instead\, to be p
repared alone with your family in your house. Are there recipes to share a
nd kits that can make food not for 3 days but for a whole street? Isn’t
the best way of survival collaboration?\n\nDetails en tickets: https://onl
