SUMMARY:Bassolino
LOCATION:Tolhuistuin\, IJpromenade 2\, 1031 KT Amsterdam
GEO:52.383088;4.90303
DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in Naples\, Dario Bassolino is a pianist\, prod
ucer and composer\, active in the international electronic jazz scene. He
has worked with Nicola Conte\, LNDFK\, Pellegrino\, Nu Genea\, Kurt Rosenw
inkel\, Paolo Fresu and Missey\, to name just a few. Bassolino is his late
st project\, with which he performs internationally alongside renowned mus
icians from his hometown of Naples. His debut album "Città Futura" (2024)
sounds like the soundtrack to an imaginary film: electric pianos effortle
ssly carrying you along the rocky coastline with sunshine filtered through
a 1970s lens\, jazzy melodies setting mafiosi on a chase through the wind
ing alleys of the old town\, and long-forgotten synth harmonies celebratin
 g the southern Italian summer on a terrace. A groove-filled record\, carri
ed by the voices of bustling\, lively squares and a sound that reaches for
the stars while remaining firmly anchored in a sun-scorched landscape. Hi
s forthcoming album\, set for release in April 2027\, is a delightful mix
of Neapolitan cinematic soundtracks\, jazz and italo disco.\n\nDetails en
