SUMMARY:Fionn Regan

DESCRIPTION:For nearly two decades\, Irish singer-songwriter Fionn Regan ha
s been acclaimed for his poetic songs and refined\, intuitive artistry. Fo
llowing his Mercury Prize-nominated 2006 debut\, 'The End of History'\, he
built a beloved body of work that balances folk\, indie\, and dreamy Amer
icana\; spanning from the radiant '100 Acres of Sycamore' (2011) to the re
cently acclaimed 'O Avalanche' (2024). Along the way\, he has collaborated
with the likes of Cillian Murphy and been sampled by Bon Iver. With his e
ighth album\, 'Berlin\, Berlin'\, Regan reaffirms his status as one of the
most distinctive voices in Irish folk. 'Berlin\, Berlin' followed quickly
on the heels of the acclaimed 'O Avalanche' (2024). While that album was
steeped in the sunlight of Mallorca\, 'Berlin\, Berlin' evokes an urban\,
nocturnal atmosphere\, a darker\, more elusive twin to its predecessor. Th
ink of the rich tones and black-and-white imagery of classic Italian cinem
a\, of early Leonard Cohen\, and of figures wandering through corridors an
d labyrinths in search of the light.\n\nDetails en tickets: https://onlyhe
