SUMMARY:Gilla Band
LOCATION:Tolhuistuin\, IJpromenade 2\, 1031 KT Amsterdam
GEO:52.383088;4.90303
DESCRIPTION:Gilla Band are a four-piece from Dublin who blur the lines betw
een noise-rock\, post-punk and industrial electronics. Over the past decad
e\, the band has built a reputation for confrontational live shows and a s
ound that constantly balances chaos and precision. With releases like ‘M
ost Normal’ and recent single ‘Giraffe’\, Gilla Band continue to pus
h guitar music into stranger territory\, combining distorted riffs\, mecha
nical rhythms and anxious vocals into something both hypnotic and unsettli
ng. Their music draws from noise\, techno and no wave\, resulting in a sou
nd that feels futuristic\, abrasive and entirely their own.\n\nDetails en
