DESCRIPTION:Since 2000\, Hot Chip have explored the space between electroni
c music\, pop and indie. The British five-piece\, led by Alexis Taylor and
Joe Goddard\, are known for their danceable beats\, melodic synths and la
yered vocals. On their ninth album\, 'A Long Way From Kansas'\, their soun
d takes on a rawer edge\, blending distorted electronics with krautrock an
d punk influences\, alongside contributions from Beth Ditto and Eddie Chac
on. Against the backdrop of an unsettled world\, Hot Chip search for conne
ction and hope without losing sight of the dancefloor.\n\nDetails en ticke
