SUMMARY:Marou & Massin
LOCATION:Paradiso\, Weteringschans 6-8\, 1017 SG Amsterdam
GEO:52.362278;4.883945
DESCRIPTION:Marou & Massin from Purmerend have known each other since secon
dary school and have been making music together since 2017. The hip-hop du
o’s style revolves around hard-hitting bars\, ambiguous lyrics and explo
ring all facets of hip-hop. On ‘Greed’\, they speak out about greed\,
propaganda and the role of the media. With ‘Geen Love’ and ‘Huismuzi
 ek’\, they take a different approach\, featuring Afro-trap and melodic h
ooks that showcase a more danceable side to their music. Following gigs at
Zwarte Cross\, as the support act for Talib Kweli and a summer session at
101Barz\, it’s clear that Marou & Massin are making great strides in th
e Dutch hip-hop scene. Now it’s time for the next step: an energetic liv
e show in our Upstairs Room on Saturday 12 December.\n\nDetails en tickets
