SUMMARY:Rachel Chinouriri
LOCATION:Paradiso\, Weteringschans 6-8\, 1017 SG Amsterdam
GEO:52.362278;4.883945
DESCRIPTION:Following a sold-out show at Tolhuistuin\, Rachel Chinouriri is
returning to Amsterdam. On 21 June 2027\, the London-based indie pop arti
st will perform at our Main Hall with her sophomore album\, 'I think I spo
ke too soon'. Chinouriri made her breakthrough in 2022 with ‘So My Darli
ng’ and established her reputation with her debut album ‘What A Devast
ating Turn Of Events’ (2024)\, which was nominated for two Brit Awards.
With her second album\, she’s striking out in a new direction: shimmerin
g synths\, danceable disco and catchy melodies nod to the 1980s\, whilst t
he songs tell of chaotic nights\, turbulent romances and the highs and low
s of growing up. The result is pop that draws you onto the dance floor\, w
ith lyrics in which you can easily recognise yourself.\n\nDetails en ticke
