SUMMARY:BLIZZARD
LOCATION:Podium Mozaïek\, Bos en Lommerweg 191\, 1055 DT Amsterdam
GEO:52.380077;4.854134
DESCRIPTION:Heroic\, absurd\, romantic and stupidly beautiful. I have a uni
form. A suitcase that becomes a horse. Fake snow. This will have to be eno
ugh. One Polish clown attempts the most epic adventure story ever told. A
soldier lost in the blizzard of war sets off carrying an orange\, a broken
sword and the memory of the love of his life. He carries everything excep
t what he actually needs. Rooted loosely in Polish history and the mytholo
gy of the Napoleonic wars\, BLIZZARD uses melodrama\, physical comedy\, au
dience interaction\, puppetry and a frankly unreasonable amount of fake sn
ow to explore what might be hiding underneath the uniform. * Bio * Piotr S
ikora is a Polish clown\, performer and theatre-maker based in London. His
work combines physical comedy\, improvisation\, audience interaction and
a taste for theatrical chaos. His solo show Furiozo: Man Looking for Troub
le has toured internationally across the UK\, Australia\, Europe and Asia\
, receiving awards and critical acclaim\, including recognition from The G
uardian and Chortle. Piotr has trained with leading clown and physical the
atre teachers including Paola Coletto\, Philippe Gaulier\, Chris Bayes\, A
itor Basauri\, Dr. Brown and Matteo Destro....\n\nDetails en tickets: http
