DESCRIPTION:London has a fantastic history dating back to Roman times when it was named Londinium. Our tour of Richmond will uncover the long history of this affluent town which was founded in the 16th century. Private groups will be personally be guided by me through the town enabling the inquisitive traveller to easily engage with its culture and history. We start on Richmond Green opposite the Victorian Richmond Theatre. Fancy a beer at AFC Richmond's pub? We wander through the remains of Henry VIIs Richmond Palace and along the Thames to Richmond riverside. Following a stroll past Ted's 'house' we take further refreshment at a riverside pub. We finish with a walk . up to Richmond Hill and to take in the view before reaching our final pub stop. My tour can be customized according to your preferences.
