DESCRIPTION:Join us for a guided creative walk along Regent&#039\;s Canal in King&#039\;s Cross.Together\, we will discover local histories\, canal heritage\, boating communities\, nature\, and everyday life connected to the waterways. Each participant will receive a pocket-sized Canal Tales journal and a set of coloured pencils to collect words\, sketches\, observations\, and memories throughout the walk.Along the route\, we will visit a series of canalside locations and hear stories from our guide\, local boaters\, and oral history recordings connected to the waterways. Highlights include the historic Waterpoint building\, the iconic Word on the Water bookbarge\, Camley Street Natural Park\, and traces of the hidden River Fleet\, one of London&#039\;s lost rivers. As we walk\, participants will be invited to observe\, listen\, sketch\, write\, and reflect. At the end of the session\, we will gather together to transform the words\, images\, and ideas collected along the route into short poems\, stories\, drawings\, and a collective piece of creative work.As part of the Canal Tales programme\, this walk forms part of a wider journey exploring waterways through walking\, imagining\, making\, and performing.Session...
