DESCRIPTION:About the event\n\nAmy leads on conservation work at Walthamstow Wetlands\, and she’ll take you off the beaten track to find out about the nature recovery work happening on site.\n\nWith access to areas usually closed to the public\, you’ll discover what we’re doing to help migratory birds\, which reptiles are being recorded on site\, and how our work is attracting rare bees.\n\nIn September\, the work focuses largely on meadows and reedbeds\, so there’ll be plenty to see on this early autumn walk.\n\nWhat to expect\n\nAn expert-led tour of the wetlands.\n\nAccess areas that are usually off-limits.\n\nFind out how nature conservation works in practice.\n\nThe species on our reserve are wild\, so we can’t guarantee particular sightings. However\, this unpredictability is all part of the joy of nature!\n\nAll proceeds from this event enable London Wildlife Trust's mission of nature recovery for a thriving city.
