DESCRIPTION:Make your very own hand-crafted brush.\n\nLearn and explore different wood shaping techniques\, discover a heritage craft\, explore your creativity and leave with a practical object.\n\nAfter learning about different UK timber species\, together we will work through different shaping techniques\, using jigsaws\, straight and curved knives\, rasps and spokeshaves. Then we will learn different methods for adding bristles - stitched and glued\, before trimming the bristles of your finished brush!\n\nAccessibility\n\nPlease note at this time Studio 2 has no step-free access and has three flights of stairs up to the Workshop Room.\n\nDisclaimer\n\nIn using the Workshop\, you understand that the use of all tools and machinery belonging to Blackhorse Workshop are at your own risk.\n\nPlease note that refunds and/or changes to ticket date are available up to one week before course date.
