DESCRIPTION:This one-day session introduces you to a range of wood-working tools and equipment\, which you can then use to make your own kitchen chopping board.\n\nThe first part of the day serves as an introduction to the Machine Shop workshop\, providing guidance on the safe use of workshop machinery\, such as the chopsaw\, bandsaw\, pillar drill\, disc and bobbin sander.\n\nFollowing a talk on different types and uses of hardwood\, you’ll then be able to select your material from our onsite timber store and design your very own chopping board. With support and guidance from the tutor\, you’ll then use our workshop equipment to make your object - providing you with a beautiful\, personalised project to take home with you!\n\nAs a great bonus\, this course includes our workshop Level 1 Induction\, meaning that you will automatically be able to book a workbench and use Blackhorse Workshop in the future.
