DESCRIPTION:Discover TIG welding during this evening introducing the theory and practice of TIG welding.\n\nPlease note: YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE METALWORK INDUCTION TO STUDY THIS COURSE.\n\nExperienced welder and metal worker\, Micky Matesich\, will teach you the correct use of specialised TIG welding equipment\, metal preparation and TIG welding techniques.\n\nTIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding has become widely popular in recent times due to its neat appearance and the ability to fuse almost any kind of metal like mild steel\, stainless steel\, aluminium and even brass and copper.\n\nIt’s also a relatively clean and quiet process\, making it ideal for artists and furniture makers. The class will cover welding safety\, TIG welding machine setup for different metals and TIG welding techniques to get you on your way to developing your new skill.\n\nThis course is for anyone interested in TIG welding\, but we recommend having some MIG welding experience to better understand the process.\n\nA BLACHORSE WORKSHOP METALWORK INDUCTION IS MANDATORY.
