DESCRIPTION:Summer Concert 2026 Join us for a deeply moving evening of choral and orchestral music as The Sacred Heart Chorus and Orchestra\, conducted by our Director of Music\, Robert Rathbone\, presents one of the most powerful and enduring works in the choral repertoire: Mozart’s Requiem (K626). As well as the Requiem\, the orchestra will perform Mozart’s Overture to The Magic Flute\, resonant with masonic overtones and humour\, and Haydn’s effervescent Trumpet Concerto will be performed by Christian Barraclough\, twenty years almost to the day after his stunning debut performing the Hummel Concerto alongside our first performance of the Requiem.
