DIE & THE HOT RODS! One of the most highly influential and recognisable na
mes from the English Rock / Punk cross over scene. Although often categori
sed as one of the founding fathers of the punk era\, they were simply inte
rested in playing loud\, fast\, in your face Rock ‘n’ Roll and that re
mains true to this day. Unfortunately\, in October 2019 came the awful new
s that founder member Barrie Masters had passed away at the age of only 63
after a legendary career with the band. Thanks to the enduring appeal of
the music\, support from their fans and a never failing desire to get out
there and make some noise\, the band decided to continue touring with a ne
w album and as always\, the utmost respect for Barrie’s memory. Fronted
on Vocals by Ian ‘Dipster’ Dean with Simon ‘Basher’ Bowley on Drum
s and Richard Holgarth on Guitar\, this line up has been the core of The H
ot Rods for the 25 plus years. Joined by Bassist Mic Stoner (ex Chords UK)
\, they continue to serve up a high energy mix of those classic. They were
awesome when they played Undercover Festival...\n\nDetails and tickets: h
