A casual evening at the Albion for the band to try out old, new, borrowed and blue things we've been working on. Reserve a table if you plan to enjoy some food, otherwise just turn up! A Community Big Band at the Heart of Elmbridge The Ember Big Band first embarked on their musical voyage of discovery together as a cohesive Big Band in 2010. Under the guidance of the legendary trombonist and arranger, Bill Geldard, we developed our sound and command of an extensive repertoire. Sadly the big band world lost Bill in late 2023, but we are thrilled that Duncan Lamont Jnr. has taken the role as our MD. With a full line up of community minded musicians and vocalists, we have performed across the borough of Elmbridge, and wider afield, raising money for some amazing charity projects.
