Join us for a vibrant evening on 15 August celebrating Bangladeshi heritage with: Homemade food from 6pm from Oitij-jo Kitchen, a women-led project rooted in East London Performance 7pm – 9pm by global musicians from Grand Union Orchestra with post-concert Q&A Directed by renowned tabla master Yousuf Ali Khan, the performance blends traditional ragas, timeless classics, and fresh arrangements uniting top Bengali artists with global talent from East London’s celebrated Grand Union Orchestra. Praised by audiences as “both resonant and sublime” and “truly amazing”. We’re proud to be part of Backyard Biennial: East, a free, 8-week festival in collaboration with Whitechapel Gallery and 40+ local partners across East London (15 July – 6 September 2026), celebrating the histories, communities and creative practices that shape the East End.
