Join Wendy Shearer, for a reading and talk about her book: Caribbean Folktales: stories from the Islands and the Windrush Generation. With a sprinkle of sunshine and a dash of sea breeze, journey with Wendy Shearer across the Caribbean sea to meet tricksters, shapeshifters and protectors of the islands. In this reading and talk, you will hear first-hand accounts from children of the Windrush generation, sharing their storytelling memories and experiences of arriving and settling in the UK.
