Summer’s on the horizon, and there’s no better way to celebrate than at the Bear of Burton’s 4th Annual Summer Bear-stival. This year we are pushing our amazing Local Makers Market back to ensure you can maximise the increased footfall that this event creates. Set up by 1pm on the lower gravel area and ideally you would want to bring your own gazebo / shelter to stay protected from what we hope is a warm summers day. £5 per stall holder to confirm your space and you can then decide if you wish to make this a voluntary donation to Julias House Childrens Hospice. FURTHER EVENT DETAILS: You can also then join in our much-loved summer gathering, set to be the highlight of the season. This is our fourth year bringing the community together, and we’re aiming to make 2026 our best Bear-stival yet. Expect a lively day with DJ sets from Crispy Jacket Studios, keeping the energy high between live acts. There’ll be a hog roast to keep you well fed, fun games for all ages, and that unbeatable atmosphere that only the Bear of Burton can provide. The best part? Entry for everyone attending the day is completely free. Whether you’re a festival regular or fancy something new, everyone’s welcome.
