Gutter – A Bouffon Comedy Ritual
Gutter is an underground comedy night emerging from The Pen Theatre, now debuting at major venues. Hosted by a bouffon troupe described as a little bit nasty, performers emerge from a bin to lead the show with clowning, drag, and alternative cabaret.
The night has featured numerous performers including Natalie Palamides, Julia Masli, Red Bastard, Jordan Brookes, Rosa Garland, and Luke Rollason, with over 60 acts having participated. Created by Tom Greaves, the show has been nominated for a Chortle Award for Best Alternative and Clowning and spawned Gutter Fest, the world's first bouffon festival.
The production delivers some of the most vital alternative comedy London has to offer.
