Jesse Malin is described as a gritty troubadour of the streets by Rolling Stone. He released his solo debut in 2003 to universal acclaim and has since released eight more albums. In 2023, he suffered a rare spinal stroke but defied odds to return to performing. He will make his off-Broadway debut in 2026 in Silver Manhattan and his memoir Almost Grown: A New York Memoir releases April 7.
