Project A Black Planet
Barbican Centre launches both an exhibition and a season of events called Project a Black Planet , celebrating the art and culture of Panafrica. Over 300 works — from paintings and installations to posters, journals and film — explore the impact of Pan-Africanism on artistic and cultural production from the 1920s to the present, alongside live music, film screenings and talks. 5 June-6 September 2026 (exhibition opens 11 June)
