Step away from your desk and get involved in greening Waterloo. Relaxed, hands-on lunchtime gardening for local workers and businesses. Rooted is a friendly, hands-on lunchtime gardening session created especially for people working in Waterloo. It’s a chance to step outside, meet others from nearby businesses, and spend an hour doing something positive for the green spaces we all share. Sessions run 1-2pm and alternate between Hercules Road and Emma Cons Gardens, so it’s easy to join from different parts of the area. Last year, Rooted built a lovely mix of regulars and first-timers, with real improvements to planting beds and public spaces across Waterloo. Whether you come once with a colleague or make it a regular thing, you and your team are helping make the neighbourhood greener and more welcoming.
