Ash spirals quickly. One day she's out clubbing, the next she's starting a new job researching historical witch accusations with her new boss Lily. Her boyfriend Dom arrives with gifts and attentiveness. But Swithinbank's script tilts toward something colder and more unsettling.
As the women research these cases of institutional failure, the play tightens. What started as cataloguing becomes claustrophobic. The script asks who holds power, in intimate relationships, in the systems we assume protect us. It's the kind of theatre that stays with you, leaving you rethinking what trust actually means.
