TEN CANDLES: A TRAGIC HORRROR TTRPG 10 Candles is a Tragic Horror TTRPG, where everyone dies at the end of the game. You and your fellow players will role play as your characters, and together you will tell the story of how you gave everything to try and survive. Ten days ago, the world went dark. It crept in quietly while you slept, blissfully unaware that anything was even wrong. Until you woke up, and the sun hadn’t risen, and never would again. Now there’s…nothing. No stars. No moon. Even the satellites went down. Just an endless dark. Then They came. You don’t know exactly who or what They are, nobody does, but when the power grids finally failed and people started disappearing into the darkness ‘what’ They are didn’t really seem important anymore. Because the human race is being hunted by something that hates it, and it lives in the dark that swallowed your world. If you want to survive, you need to stay in the light. Light seems to be the one thing that hurts them. So find torches, batteries, generators, candles, anything, but get in the light. If you're in the light, you’re safe. If you’re not…I’m so sorry. It’s up to you now. SESSION INFO Each game of 10 Candles will have a different, horrible, high stakes setting and goal. The GM will teach you the rules of the game, guide you through creating your character at the table, and then you’ll dive head first into telling the story, deciding where you end up, how you get there, and what difficulties you’ll face along the way, until the last candle goes out and the darkness takes you. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? Nothing! All equipment will be provided at the table. (Though maybe bring some random items in your coat pockets for no reason whatsoever…) CONTENT WARNINGS: Heavily Immersive RPG, Dark Themes, Darkness, Candlelight, Gore, Peril, Hopelessness, Graphic Violence, Blood, Madness, Inevitable Death, Improv, Voice Recording. All players who attend our events must read and agree to our Code of Conduct. By playing at the Arcanist's Tavern you agree to abide by the terms of our Code of Conduct at all times. Please note, all sessions begin at 6:30 promptly. If you arrive after games have begun, there is no guarantee that we will be able to seat you at a table.
