081 Pizzeria

Shoreditch

081 is a pizzeria in EC2A, and it has the energy of a place built for groups. The programming leans social and drinks-led. Pre-drinks parties are the clearest sign of it: a loose, sociable start to the night, with people arriving in ones and twos and the group forming around the tables. It suits a few friends who want an easy beginning without a long plan. Pizza gives everyone something to share while the rest of the evening gets decided. Come with a rough idea of the night and let the room set the pace. It is less of a choice for a slow, quiet dinner. Expect conversation to carry over the noise, and expect that to be part of the point.
