Alice Amati

Fitzrovia

1 upcoming event

Alice Amati is an art venue in W1T, and its programme is built around individual artists. The work tends to reward close looking, with attention to surface, material, and the small details you only notice when you slow down. Expect shows that ask you to stay a while. If you like art that improves on a second look, this is a room worth getting to know. The crowd tends to be people who go to galleries on purpose, often to follow a particular artist. Others come to see what a smaller space will surprise them with. It helps to treat it as a place to meet work at close range. Go in without a fixed plan, read the wall text, and let one piece decide how long you stay.
