The Barbican in EC2Y 8AE programmes classical music, theatre, film and visual art. You get serious programming here: concerts in chamber music, theatre willing to take risks, cinema that reaches different audiences. There's real commitment to accessibility woven through what they do, tours with BSL interpretation, screenings for older audiences, events that deliberately bring different communities in. The programming doesn't chase hype or trends. It's the kind of place you go to because something genuinely interests you, not because of what's fashionable. Expect thoughtfulness. Expect depth.
