Betty & Joan's

Southwark

Betty & Joan's is a food venue in SE17 that leans into food and culture. Expect nights built around a cuisine, a celebration or a community tradition. Diwali-themed evenings show the spirit here: specific, generous, and rooted in the tradition rather than a party theme. The crowd tends to be people who go out to eat with a reason. Some come for the tradition, some for the cooking. Expect a mix of locals and people who have crossed the city for one night. If you are picking one, look at what the night is built around. Good food events tell you what you will eat, who is cooking and why. Those details matter more than the headline.
