Defectors Weld: Pub in Shepherd's Bush, London

Defectors Weld is a food-led venue in W12, the kind of place you go to eat with people you like. The meal sets the pace, and the evening tends to loosen from there. Karaoke is the programming to know about. It's the sort of night where a table of friends ends up on the mic and nobody minds how it goes. Expect a crowd that's there to sing loudly together, not to sit and watch in silence. If you want a quiet, low-key dinner, this probably isn't the room. If you want a sociable night that runs on food and singing, it suits you well. Go with a group. Bring the friends who don't mind being the loud table.
