1 upcoming event

domobaal is an art venue in WC1N, and it programmes like one. The shows tend to centre on individual artists who get the whole space to present a body of work, often with a clear point of view. Expect painting, sculpture and installation, usually built around one idea rather than a loose group mix. Go if you want to see how an artist thinks, not just what they made. The work rewards slow looking. Give it time, read the wall text, and let the pieces settle before you decide what you think. It suits people who already spend time in galleries and want more of that. It also suits people who are new to art and want to see it without a lot of noise around it.
