Festival Pier is a food venue that does much of its work on the Thames. The programming leans towards cruises: long lunches, slow weekend brunches, and party boats that run through the bigger nights of the year. It suits a group that wants a proper table, a bit of occasion, and something a little different from a standard dinner out. The crowd tends to be celebration-minded, the kind of people planning a birthday, a team outing, or a night that needs a reason to dress up. Expect the meal to come first. The mood is friendly and social rather than loud for its own sake. If you like an evening with a clear shape, this is worth a look.
