Flight Club Shoreditch is a food-led venue, and the food sets the pace. Come for a long lunch, a late brunch, or an evening with a theme attached. The programming leans towards themed parties built around a meal. That's the pattern to look for. The same format runs across the group's London sites, so if you like how one room works, the others will feel familiar. The crowd tends to be people who want the table to be part of the fun. Expect more than a quiet dinner and less than a club night. Groups do well here, because the format rewards people who arrive together and don't overthink the order. Check what the night is built around before you book. The theme usually does most of the work.
