Fusebox is an art venue, and its programme leans towards live work you have to be in the room for. Expect a mix of music, theatre and comedy-adjacent sessions, with the occasional seasonal family show that brings younger audiences and their grown-ups together. Much of the work asks for attention, so the room tends to listen. The evenings often feel close, and the crowd is there for the performance rather than just passing through. If you like work that sits between genres, this is a good place to start. Go in without a fixed idea of what the night will be. Some of the most useful evenings are the ones you didn't plan.
