Guildhall Library

London

Guildhall Library is a London venue for people who like their books with some depth. It leans towards history, especially the kind that asks who was left out of the story. Expect events built around sources, archives and the people whose voices rarely make it into the textbooks. The talks tend to be about how history gets told, not just what happened. The crowd is curious rather than casual. Think historians, students, writers and readers who want to hear from someone who knows their material well. If you like a night that feels like a conversation, this is a good place to start.
