Hampton Court Palace

Richmond upon Thames

1 upcoming event

Hampton Court Palace sits in KT8, and it rewards slow looking. Art here tends to come with context, a guide, and time to stop at one thing. The programming leans toward guided experiences built around close attention. Some tours are led by deaf guides, which changes the pace and the kind of questions people ask. Expect more looking, more pointing, and more time spent on a single object. The crowd is mixed. Families, history readers, and people who want a slower way into art all turn up. It suits you if you care more about the story behind a piece than a quick photo. Choose a guided tour if you want the detail. Go on your own if you want the building to set the mood.
