Hand of Glory: Pub in Hackney, London

2 upcoming events

Hand of Glory is an E8 venue with a programme that doesn't sit still. One night it's a pub quiz, with teams who take the scoring seriously. Another it's folk sessions, where the room drops its voice and listens. Later on, club nights take over, and there's a pool table for anyone who wants a game in between. That mix is the appeal. You can come for one thing and end up staying for another. The crowd tends to be local and easy-going, the sort who will talk to you at the bar if you talk first. Hand of Glory in London suits people who like a venue with its own character rather than a template. Check the listings below and pick a night that matches your mood.
