Harrow Arts Centre White Cube Gallery

Harrow Arts Centre's White Cube Gallery is built around photography and visual art courses. The programming grows out of the teaching, so a lot of what you see is student and practitioner work. It's not a gallery that separates itself from its teaching side. You get shows mixing finished work with pieces from the studios the centre runs. That shapes the whole character of the space. It draws the kind of people who come to make work, not just see it. The focus tends toward artists in development, the kind of sustained practice that happens when you have proper time and studio space. Course culture is woven through the gallery.
