Instituto Cervantes is an arts venue that treats art as something to take part in, not just look at. It sits in WC2R, and the programming reflects that. Much of it leans toward making things. Beginner courses are a good example. You arrive with no experience, you work with your hands, and you leave with something you made yourself. That suits people who want a new skill more than a passive evening. The crowd tends to be curious and hands-on. Some people come for one class to try something they've never done. Others return because they enjoy learning alongside people who are also starting out. When you choose an event, think about what you want from the evening.
