Leytonstone Library Plus is the kind of place locals use for more than borrowing books. Much of the programming suits families with little ones. Rhymes, story time, stay and play, and craft sessions where the tables get messy in the best way. It has a community side too. Coffee and chat sessions bring people in to talk, meet neighbours and take a break from the day. If you are new to E11, this is an easy place to meet people. Parents and carers tend to find each other quickly. Older kids get hands-on time with making things, and younger ones get a room full of songs and stories. Think of it as a neighbourhood room with a library at its heart.
