LSO St Luke's is a place for music first. Chamber recitals, solo sonatas and the odd bit of musical storytelling all share the same room, and that mix tells you a lot about who comes. You will see people who know their repertoire sitting next to first-timers who came along for a friend. Programming leans towards the intimate. Piano and harpsichord work, small ensembles, and focused evenings rather than big spectacle. Family sessions for younger children sit alongside adult concerts, so the crowd can be quite mixed. If you are new to classical music, pick a programme with a performer's name you half recognise, or go to a family session to see how the room feels.
