Museum of Youth Culture

Camden Town

The Museum of Youth Culture is for people who care how music, style and politics actually get made. It is less about nostalgia and more about the young people who built the scenes you already love. The programme tends to lean into the working side of culture. Talks ask who gets paid, who gets in and who gets left out. Zine and book launches show DIY publishing up close. Gig history sits alongside live nights, so the past and the present share the same room. Queer club nights have a strong place here too. They belong to a tradition of people making their own spaces when nobody else would hold them. Expect a crowd that asks questions and stays for the conversation after.
